"Our recent St Anthony’s Canossian Primary School’s Family Education ‘Batam Getaway’ was a resounding success … another memorable experience for us. Having organised the St Patrick’s School ‘Father-son Bonding Camp’ in mid-February this year at Batam View Beach Resort, I was encouraged to hold a family bonding getaway for St Anthony’s Canossian Primary School. From the moment we arrived at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, we knew we were in good hands.

The families enjoyed the activities and revelled in their family bonding … Our dinner by the beach was an exceptionally wonderful experience. Having five tables set up for us made us feel really special. The food was sumptuous and the ambience was unbelievable. I wonder how many hotels would agree to a set-up like this just for a small group … Please convey my deepest appreciation to the team, especially Djoko, Tio and Hamid. Kindly nominate them as your model employees. Their professionalism and concern for their guests outclasses many other “star” rated hotels we’ve stayed in both regionally and internationally. The recent Influenza A H1N1 outbreak didn’t hinder any of our programmes nor did we worry unnecessarily while in Batam. The families have also asked me to convey their compliments on your staff’s friendliness and being so accommodating. We will most certainly recommend families, friends and other schools to organise their events at BVBR."
